*Attorneys have 'Full Client Privilege', CPAs have limited privilege. If you need to
discuss an issue regarding a criminal or heavily involved civil matter, you must
engage an attorney to hire a CPA for you.

The Difference Between Enrolled Agents and All Other Representatives:
CPAs and Attorneys are not required to prove they have knowledge of IRS
tax law, collections, or appeals procedures prior to licensing. They receive
their right to represent clients before IRS by merely becoming a CPA or
Attorney.
Enrolled Agents must prove their knowledge of the tax law, collections,
and appeals procedures prior to receiving a license to represent taxpayers
before the IRS. This is accomplished either by working for the IRS in a
technical position applying the tax law for at least five years or by taking a
written two day test given by the US Treasury Department.. The only thing
CPAs may do that Enrolled Agents cannot is prepare audited financial
statements.
Being both an IRS Enrolled Agent and a licensed CPA gives Mr. Bonner
the highest possible qualifications to represent you and assist you with
your taxes.
